This mama is a special friend of mine and was being induced with her first baby at just 35 weeks due to pre-eclampsia. The induction was going along very slowly. A couple of hours after I arrived, with very little progress, she was given a C-section due to early symptoms of HELLP syndrome. No one was allowed in except the baby's father and since she was a preemie, she went straight to the NICU after birth. I did get to meet her recently, now home with her parents. She is an absolute doll, weighing a mere 4 lbs. No worries, I plan on capturing some of her tiny sweetness on film at her home sometime soon!
